Application:
A) Broadband Amplifier
- Some broadband amplifiers do not have a DC blocking capacitor inside, and the output terminal needs to be powered, so a biaser is required.
- Some amplifiers have built-in blocking capacitors, which do not require additional biasers.
- Active GPS antenna power
B) Optical fiber communication, laser drive
- The driving current required by laser diode is injected through the DC terminal of the biaser; the communication data is injected through its RF terminal.
Principle:
- Wideband amplifier feeding circuit, high frequency is affected by parasitic capacitance parameters, and the performance drops sharply, so a bias tee needs to be used for feeding.
- It consists of ultra-broadband, near-idealized, high-frequency inductors and capacitors without resonance points.
- DC blocking capacitor: block DC to prevent DC voltage from leaking to subsequent circuits or testing instruments.
- High-frequency inductor: isolates AC information and prevents high-frequency signals from leaking into the power supply system.
