Product Principle:

Broadband amplifier feed circuit, high frequency is affected by parasitic capacitance parameters, and its performance drops sharply, so Bias Tee is required for feeding.

Bias Tee is composed of ultra-wideband, near idealized, high frequency inductors and capacitors without resonance points.

DC blocking capacitor: Blocking DC to prevent DC voltage from leaking to subsequent circuits or test instruments;

High frequency inductance: Isolate AC information to prevent high frequency signals from leaking to a power supply system.

Applications:
A) For Broadband Amplifiers:
- Some broadband amplifiers do not have a DC blocking capacitor inside, and their output terminal needs to be powered and a bias tee is required.
- Some amplifiers have built-in blocking capacitors, so no additional bias tees are needed.

B) For Optical Fiber Communications, Laser Drive:
- Driving current required by laser diode is injected through the DC terminal of a bias tee;
- Communication data is injected through RF terminal.
