It can only be used for DC brushed motors, not for cooling fans.
Why does the motor governor need to set frequency?
If the frequency of the motor governor is too low, power supply will have a large wave and your motor will have a large vibration. When the frequency is too high, switching loss is large and electromagnetic noise will be obvious. When the frequency is not suitable, the effective power output of your motor will drop. The default frequency is 20KHz, which can meet the requirements of most motors. Please consult motor manufacturers for specific frequencies.
Why use a digital encoder knob instead of an ordinary potentiometer for the motor speed regulator?
Features:
- With ON/OFF button. It can be connected to external switch control, to meet various control requirements.
- Motor soft start function. When starting your motor, current increases slowly and there is no shock current, which can effectively protect the motor and prolong its service life.
- Duty cycle, duty cycle upper and lower limits and working frequency can be set to facilitate customers to operate and use their motors, according to their working characteristics.

2.Operations of Digital Encoder Knob:
In the default interface: (Duty cycle is displayed by default)
- Short press to switch motor start and stop
- Long press to enter setting interface
- Counterclockwise rotation to decrease duty ratio
- Clockwise rotation to increase duty cycle
In Setting Interface:
Short press : Select setting parameters and switch among duty cycle lower limit, duty cycle upper limit and working frequency. The lower limit of duty cycle is displayed with L + two digits. The duty cycle upper limit display format is H + two digits or 100. Working frequency is displayed with F + two digits.
- Long press to exit the setting interface
- Counterclockwise rotation to reduce the corresponding setting parameters
- Clockwise rotation to increase the corresponding setting parameters
3.STOP Port on the Back:
It can be connected to an external switch button or 3.3V level. Press the button to close it or lower the 3.3V level to switch the on/off state of your motor.
