2-Piece Type eADC Solar Observer Electric Atmospheric Dispersion Correction with Tilt Sensor Support for Newtonian Reflector

Description:

- eADC is a device with a tilt sensor that can sense the current posture of eADC and calculate the current color difference compensation amount through user settings. After a calibration, there is no need to manually calibrate again when the target height does not change significantly. When the equatorial instrument rotates, it will automatically adjust according to the posture without manual intervention. The equatorial telescope will automatically regain its position after flipping through the center. Support for Newtonian reflector usage.
- EADC can be used offline alone or online on a computer. The settings of eADC can be changed through the computer operation terminal, and the parameter changes made by the eADC operation knob can also be read through the computer operation terminal.

Specification:
- Power supply voltage: 5V DC
- Current consumption: 300mA max
- Product size: 59 x 89.6 x 80.4mm
- Net weight: 267g

Basic Operations:
1: The power supply specification of eADC is DC 5V with a deviation of ±0.5V (4.5V-5.5V), and the power supply current is not less than 300mA. It can be powered by a portable power bank that meets voltage standards or a USB port on a computer. After power supply, the first line of the display shows Initializating, which is in the initialization phase. About a minute later, when Initializating turns into Smart ADC, it enters working mode.
2: Connect the camera, find the target, and adjust the compensation coefficient. Align the red and blue colors. Recommend using the ADC calibration function for Sharpcap4.0 and later. Adjust the compensation coefficient to minimize the red and blue values on the target. If there is still a significant error in the left and right directions when adjusting the compensation coefficients separately for red and blue, the third parameter can be adjusted for horizontal tilt compensation.
After adjusting the target with a height angle of about 30 degrees, higher angle targets do not need to be adjusted again. eADC can automatically adjust based on the angle and current compensation coefficient. For the sake of rigor, it is recommended to check alignment again after changing the target.
3: Visual adjustment, first adjust the compensation coefficient until the atmospheric color difference is no longer visible. If there is still visible color difference in the horizontal direction, adjust the horizontal tilt compensation of the third row.

Package Included:
- 1 x eADC

Note:
- If no displacement is required, it is recommended to purchase the four-piece eADC.
