Instructions for Use:
1. AC 12V is the power supply. (It is recommended to use an independent power transformer or independent winding for power supply).
2. L, G, R: This is the two-channel input terminal for low-level signal of the driver board, which is used to connect the audio of mobile phones, computer sound cards, preamps, and other audio source devices (the signal is the signal that can be heard via earphone). When wiring, L, GND, R are correspond to the left, ground and right channels respectively.
3. The adjustable resistance "5K-V" is for adjusting the brightness of the backlight.
4. Adjustable resistors "50K-1 and 50K-2" respectively control the beating amplitude of the pointers of VU meter 1 and VU meter 2.
Debugging Method:
1. Level meter debugging: Find a signal generator, adjust the output frequency of 1KHz signal effective value 0.775V, connect the signal input of the driver board, and the pointer of the meter points to the 0DB. (If you don't have a signal generator, you can download an signal generator APP with your mobile phone, and you can adjust it according to the previous method).
2. VU meter debugging: The adjustment of the VU meter is much simpler. The driver board is connected to the audio signal, and the adjustable resistance on the driver board is adjusted to synchronize the loudness and rhythm of the ear to the sound with the pointer, so that the pointer swing amplitude is moderate. When the sound is loudest, the pointer points to the %100 position or the maximum value of the scale.
