1. Inverted V Antenna Erection Method:
Mainly used for omnidirectional 360-degree blind zone communication and taking into account long-distance directional communication, the communication distance can reach more than 2000-3000 kilometers. When the radius is 0-1000 kilometers and operating frequency is below 12MHZ, there is no dead zone in the communication area. It is often used as a central base station in communication networks and can also be used in local stations to form a reliable communication emergency support network. When the working frequency is above 12MHZ, the antenna also supports long-distance directional communication, and the communication distance can reach more than 2000-3000 kilometers. The front of the antenna oscillator is its radiation direction.
Erection Method: It is recommended that the height is above 6 meters-7.5 meters, the angle between the top of the antenna is 10-120° (the smaller the angle, the closer the communication range), and the tail is 1.5-2 meters above the ground. If communication within 1000 kilometers is required, there is no limit to the direction of the antenna. If longer distance communication is required, the front of the antenna must face the direction of communication. When lifting, first fix the two terminals of the balun in the middle of the vibrator with an insulating rope, and then hang it on the top of the pole. Tighten the two tails of the antenna according to a certain antenna angle, so that the vibrator is straightened obliquely and fixed to complete the installation work.
When setting up, pay attention: the stainless steel cable oscillator should not touch metal pole. When lifting, balun should not be pulled. Balun cannot withstand gravity and pulling force. The insulated rope to be pulled should pull the stainless steel cable oscillator at the two ends of the balun. The stainless steel vibrator can withstand 300 kg of pulling force. The feeder should be fixed on the pole. At a distance of 3 meters from the ground, install a coaxial lightning protector on the feeder to do a good job of lightning protection. The two end screws of the yellow aluminum shell part installed (matching) in the middle of the antenna should be anti-rust (just apply heavy butter).
The inverted V erection is suitable for the communication network of central station to the substations in all directions to form a reliable communication network. It also takes into account both horizontally polarized waves and vertically polarized waves, and has good communication effects on fixed stations using horizontal antennas, vehicle-mounted stations using vertical whip antennas, and personal carrying stations. Adaptation and application are very extensive.
2. Horizontal Antenna Erection Way:
Mainly used for long-distance directional communication, the communication distance can reach more than 3000 kilometers. It is the main force of long-distance directional communication (and takes into account the short-range omnidirectional 360-degree communication without blind area). The radiating signal on the front of the oscillator is strong, and there is also a certain amount of radiation on the side (ordinary broadband and *-shaped dipole antennas have little radiation laterally). At the same time, under 10MHZ, it has 0-300 km omnidirectional communication without blind zones. When horizontally installed, the higher the pole height, the farther the communication distance. If the communication distance is less than 1000 kilometers, the height of 7.5 meters can be selected. If 1000-2000 kilometers of communication is needed, the recommended height is 7.5-9 meters. If the communication distance is more than 3000 kilometers, the height is recommended to be about 15-20 meters.
When the antenna is installed horizontally, the height will affect the signal radiation direction. When the antenna is erected at a height of 2 meters (low), the transmitted signal is strong in the direction of the vibrator. The pattern and the direction at 7 meters (high) are at a 90-degree angle. This method is fast to set up and is mainly used for outdoor temporary fixed emergency communications. When the height is 7 meters, the signal direction is the vertical direction of the vibrator (that is, the front), which is more suitable for long-distance directional communication. There is no close-up blind zone in the elevated and low ways. Both far and near communications are taken into account.
For horizontal erection, two uprights are required, the height is greater than 7.5 meters, and pulleys are installed at the top of the uprights. After tightening the steel cables at the two ends of the antenna through the pulleys at the top, the antenna can be pulled up and tightened to a horizontal state. The feeder should be installed at a distance of 3 meters from the ground. A coaxial lightning protector should be installed on the feeder to ensure lightning protection. The horizontal erection method radiates stronger in the wide side of the antenna than in the narrow side, and is suitable for point-to-point and point-to-plane communication. The height of the bracket on both sides is preferably 1/4 wavelength. (For example: F=10MHz, the stand height is about 7.5 meters).
