Functions:
1.The module has two buttons: IN / OUT, ON / OFF. IN / OUT button: Short press this button to switch to display input voltage, output voltage, and module temperature. Press and hold this button to switch to display output current and output power. ON / OFF button: Short press the button to control output to be ON/OFF. Long press to set default output state to be ON/OFF when power on again.
2.CC is current setting potentiometer. Turn it clockwise to increase current setting. When load current reaches current setting, it is in constant current state, constant current indicator will be lit in red. CV is voltage setting potentiometer. Turn it clockwise to increase output voltage. ON indicator is output state indicator. When there is voltage at output end, it is lit. It is off when there is no voltage at output end.
Using Methods:
1. Used as a common buck-boost module with over-current protection
(1) Adjust CV potentiometer to make output voltage reach the voltage you want.
(2) Short-circuit output terminal directly with a short wire (The output terminal can be short-circuited directly). Adjust CC potentiometer to make output current reach a predetermined over-current protection value. (For example, the current value displayed by the module is 2A, then the maximum current when you use the module can only reach 2A. When current reaches 2A, red constant voltage and constant current indicator is on, otherwise the indicator is off)
Attention: When used in this state, due to the current sampling resistor at the output end, there will be a voltage drop of 0~0.2V when connected to a load. At the same time, input lead and output lead will have a certain line voltage drop when current is large. This is normal.
2. Use as a battery charger (battery is not included)
Modules without constant current cannot be used to charge battery. Due to the large voltage difference between drained battery and the charger, when charging current is too large, battery will be damaged. So at the beginning, battery should be charged with constant current. When charging to a certain level, it automatically switches back to constant voltage charging.
(1) Determine the floating charge voltage and charging current of the battery you need to charge (If lithium battery parameter is 3.7V / 2200mAh, then floating charge voltage is 4.2V, and the maximum charging current is 1C, which is 2200mA)
(2) Under no-load conditions, adjust CV potentiometer to make output voltage reach the floating charge voltage; (If charging a 3.7V lithium battery, adjust output voltage to 4.2V)
(3) Short-circuit output terminal directly with a short wire (The output terminal can be short-circuited directly). Adjust CC potentiometer to make output current reach the predetermined charging current value;
(4) Connect battery and charge.
(Steps 1, 2, and 3 are: The input end is connected to power supply, and the output end is not connected to battery)
3. Used as a high-power LED constant current driver module
(1) Determine the working current and maximum working voltage you need to drive LED;
(2) Under no-load conditions, adjust CV potentiometer so that output voltage reaches the maximum working voltage of LED;
(3) Short-circuit output terminal directly with a short wire (The output terminal can be directly short-circuited). Adjust CC potentiometer to make output current reach the predetermined LED working current;
(4) Connect LED and test the machine.
(Steps 1, 2, and 3 are: The input is connected to the power supply, and the output is not connected to LED light.)
Precautions:
1. The IN- of the module is forbidden to be short-circuited with OUT-, otherwise constant current function will be invalid.
2. Make sure that the power of power supply is greater than the power required by output load.
3. If the module wants to output at full load, input voltage should be above 8V. When input voltage is 5V, output power is about 15W, and a voltage ammeter will fail. The maximum current value of the module is 4A, and the premise is limited by the maximum output power. For example, if output is 17V, current should not be greater than 2A.
4. The module has output short-circuit protection. After short circuit protection is turned on, the module will automatically turn off output. Power on the module to restore output. If your power supply does not have output current limit protection, it is recommended to connect a fuse in series with the front end of the module input end to improve safety factor.
5. The module has input under-voltage protection function, the default is about 4.7V. Below this value, the module will automatically disconnect to output. Power on the module to restore output (Attention: The voltage here is the voltage at the port of the module. When input current is relatively large, do not ignore the divided voltage on input wire)

- This version is designed without cooling fan. Please not add your own fan to our items.
- Power adapter is not included. Please purchase separately. It is recommended to use an adapter with a voltage of 15~24V / current of 2~5A. When large output power is needed, please use a high-power adapter. Insert DC port of the module, and the product will change to desktop power in seconds.
- It is unfinished and assembling is needed. There is a protective film on the acrylic shell and the outer layer of LCD screen. Please tear off the film before assembly.
- Batteries are not included.
- Electronic knowledge is highly recommended.
