Description:

AD7606 is a 16-bit ADC data acquisition chip with 8-channel synchronous sampling. The sampling rate per channel can reach 200kSPS. It has built-in analog input clamp protection, second-order anti-aliasing filter, track-and-hold amplifier, 16-bit charge redistribution successive approximation ADC, digital filter, 2.5V reference voltage source, reference voltage buffer, as well as high-speed serial and parallel interfaces.

The module is powered by a single 5V power supply. It has on-chip filtering and high input impedance, so there is no need to drive an op amp and an external bipolar power supply. The 3dB cut-off frequency of the anti-aliasing filter is 22kHz. At a sample rate of 200kSPS, it has 40dB anti-aliasing rejection. The input clamp protection circuit ensures that the input withstands ±16.5V.

The module can be used in systems such as power line monitoring and protection, multi-phase motor control, instrumentation and control, multi-axis positioning, and data acquisition.
