Module Introduction:

The AD7606C-16 is an 8-channel, 16-bit synchronous sampling Analog-to-Digital Acquisition System (DAS). Each channel includes input clamp protection, a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), a Low Pass Filter (LPF), and a 16-bit Successive Approximation Register (SAR) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The AD7606C-16 also features a flexible digital filter, a low-drift 2.5V precision reference voltage source, a reference voltage buffer for driving the ADC, and flexible parallel and serial interfaces.

The input clamp protection can withstand up to ±21V of voltage. For applications with lower throughput rates, the AD7606C-16's flexible digital filter can be used to improve noise performance. In hardware mode, the AD7606C-16 is fully compatible with the AD7606 and AD7606B. In software mode, additional advanced features are available, such as configuring the input voltage range, enabling high bandwidth mode, and more.
