Description:

The analog front end is based on the constant current source excitation balance four-wire measurement method. For the constant current source, we measure the constant current stability of the circuit at 1.000000mA by an electrometer, and use a femtoampere-level bias current op amp. The voltage reference has a maximum temperature drift of 3ppm/°C. The test board comes with LTC2400ADC with a noise of 0.3ppm, ensuring 24bit without loss of code.

The board is suitable for use with first- or second-class platinum resistors. It can be applied to scenarios where there is no room for error in the measurement temperature. With reasonable digital filtering, noise-free resolution can be down to 3 or even 4 decimal places (e.g. 100.000°C or 100.0000°C).
