FAQ:
Q: What is the difference between the tip and handle of C115, C210 and C245?
A:
Their main difference is the thickness of soldering tip and the place
where it works. C115 is the finest and belongs to the nano-scale. It is
mainly used for very fine operations under microscopes such as jump wire
(fingerprint). C210 is fine, mainly used for delicate operations such
as ordinary jump wires, repairing mobile phones, etc. Its cutter head
and face are 2.5 mm. C245 is the thickest. It's about the same as the
936 series. And it is mainly used for computers, automotive parts and
maintenance. The cutter head and face are available in 3.5mm and 5.5mm.
Q: Why does the screen display "5-E" as soon as the soldering iron tip is plugged in?
A:
"5-E" means that the heating core and soldering iron tip are not
plugged in properly. Just pull out the soldering tip and insert it
again. If that doesn't work, replace the tip.
Q: After using the soldering station, the soldering iron tip turns black. What can I do?
A:
The C210/C245/C115 series tips heat up very quickly. If you are not
careful, the soldering iron tip does not eat tin, and it is easy to
oxidize and blacken. Just clean the tip with a steel wool ball and
re-apply the tin. It is best to use soldering tip refresher. This series
of soldering iron tips is relatively fine, and please avoid scraping
and rubbing the soldering iron tips. After using the soldering iron tip,
please stick tin to protect the soldering iron tip.
Q: The temperature of the soldering iron tip is adjusted to 420°C. Why the temperature is not high than the 280°C of 936?
A:
The A9 series is the latest generation of soldering stations. The focus
of its development is on small and fine temperature tolerances. The
temperature difference of the soldering iron tip of the 936 series is
very large, and the actual temperature deviation is large. Instant tin
melting is used to cater to beginners. We can't work by feeling. Users
need to use the actual measured temperature as the standard.
Q: What are the differences and features between A9 and T21 series and T26D and T36D?
A:
A9 series and T21 series both use switching power supply and step-down
mode through the circuit board, and the temperature rise is fast and the
temperature return is fast. However, in terms of stability and
durability, their soldering tips are not as good as the soldering tips
of the T26D and T36D that are stepped-down by transformers. The A9
series and T21 series support many handles (C115, C210 & C245),
while T26D can only use C210 and the T36D can only use C115.
