The Ambarella is one of the smallest dash cams on the market today. The new Ambarella Mini 0803 is a upgrade of the populair Ambarella Mini 0801. The Mini 0803 offers excellent video quality for relatively little money. With a resolution up to 1296p, a 135-degree wide-angle, and optional 8, 16 or 32GB of internal memory, this is the most popular Dash cam within the lower price range. The video quality is very good during the day and night.

The Mini 0803 is one of the smallest dash board cameras available at the moment. Installed behind the rearview mirror, this one is very discrete and unobstructive, while the controls of the built-in 1.5″ screen is easy to use.
The power cord is connected to the (self-adhesive) mounting block (the mounting pad that sticks to the windshield), making it easy to remove the dash cam without having to disconnect the cable. This is a nice feature which we’d like to see from dash cams more often, because it’ll allow you to remove the camera with ease from your car without disconnecting / reconnecting.
The features include the usual loop recording, automatic on / off, G – sensor, and the date and time stamp on videos. At 135 ° (diagonally), the viewing angle of the 0803 is wider than most other dash cams in this price range. That said, the majority of users seems to be very satisfied with the product. With 1296p and GPS, the Mini 0803 is an absolute must.
