Principle:
This driver uses the leading accurate detection technology of motor loop current, self-detection technology of brushed DC motor speed, regenerative current constant current braking (or brake) technology and powerful PID adjustment technology, which can perfectly control the motor start and brake, reversing process and blocking protection. The response time of the motor is short, and the recoil is small; the output current is monitored in real time to prevent overcurrent, which effectively protects the motor and the driver. The rated current of motors can be configured through the DIP switch or the serial port, so that the motor starting, braking, and blocking current can be limited to the rated current of the motor, with high efficiency and good safety performance.
Functional Features:
- Voltage range 9~24V, rated current 7.5A, maximum current 16A (current-doubler)/7.5A (non-current-doubler)
- Potentiometer, 0~3.3V analog signal and logic level, switch value, -3.3V to +3.3V differential analog signal, PWM, frequency signal or RS485 multiple input signals
- PWM speed regulation (voltage regulation), torque limit control (steady current), self-test speed/external tachogenerator/external pulse feedback closed-loop speed regulation (steady speed)
- Motor current PID adjustment. Maximum load/brake current can be configured. Motor start/brake/short commutation time, and small impact force
- Forward and reverse two-way speed regulation. The forward/reverse speed can be preset and stored, and the start, stop and direction can be controlled by the switch/button
- Two limit switches can be connected to the positive and negative limit positions
- Motor overload and locked-rotor current limiting to prevent over-current damage to the motor, support locked-rotor limit stop, and instantaneous high-current monitoring to prevent over-current damage to the motor or drive
- Support the internal temperature monitoring of the driver, and the overheat protection temperature can be configured
- Support the internal monitoring of the driver's power supply voltage, and can configure the over-voltage/undervoltage shutdown monitoring value
- Support double current output, strong torque output at startup and heavy load
- 485 common mode voltage protection, support RS485 multi-site communication, support for MODBUS-RTU protocol, facilitate the control of multiple controllers (such as MCU, PC or PLC), support communication interruption stop protection
- 18KHz PWM frequency, motor speed regulation without PWM screaming
- Very small PWM dead zone, only 0.5us. Effective range of PWM is 0.1%~99.9%
- ESD protection for all interfaces, which can adapt to complex on-site environment
- Provide PC sample programs, which can be used to configure parameters, debug motors or secondary development
Parameters of Compatible Motors:
- Motor with rated voltage of 24V: suitable for motors with rated power of 120W and below or rated current below 7A to work at full capacity for a long time
- Motor with a rated voltage of 12V: suitable for a motor with a rated power of 45W or less or a motor with a rated current of below 7A to work at full capacity for a long time
Attention:
The driver can output a rated current of 7A for a long time. However, the rated power marked on a motor generally refers to the output power. Considering motor loss, motor efficiency should be considered when calculating rated current. Rated current=rated power/rated voltage/efficiency.
