Description:

The AFD4/AFD5 series is a vortex flow meter based on the Von Karman vortices principle. The sensor senses how often the vortex flows through an internal chip and measures the flow of liquid through the pipe. The vortex flowmeter boasts long service life, contamination resistance, high accuracy, fast response, and no drift. Thus, it is ideal for demanding and cost-sensitive OEM applications. The AFD4 series has EU export certifications: REACH, ROHS and CE.

Q1. The flow rate is not accurate. It is too large or too small or there is even no flow.
1. Whether it meets the requirements of the connecting pipe in the specification.
2. Whether the liquid introduced meets the requirements.
3. Whether there is no vibration or interference in the installation environment.

Q2. Requirements for front and rear connecting pipes.
The inlet of the flowmeter needs to be connected to a long straight pipe, please refer to the installation specification for details, and the installation environment should avoid vibration and electromagnetic interference.

Q3. For the same pipeline, the values before and after are quite different.
Due to different placement and pressure resistance, the product reads different flow rates.

Q4. What types of liquids can the flow meter be fed with?
The liquid flow meter series can currently be used with pure water and glycol solutions. Most other liquids can be used as long as they are non-corrosive, non-condensable, free of particles, and have a density similar to that of water (before purchasing, please contact customer service to see if the measured medium is suitable for this product).
