- BT-877 adopts the transparent transmission method. In order to ensure the reliability and stability of the user system, a checksum or CRC check error detection mode is added during transmission to retransmit the erroneous data. The module's transceiver buffer reaches 512bytes, which means that the user can transmit 512bytes of data at any time in any state. When the air speed is set to be greater than the serial port rate, theoretically it can send unlimited data packets, but it is not recommended that the user send too long data packets, it is recommended that the length of each packet is between 60 and 100B, generally not longer than 120B. At the same time, it is recommended that the user program use ARQ to resend the wrong data packet. analyse as below:
- Assuming that the actual bit error rate of communication is 10-4, users need to send 1KB of data about 10000bit. If 1KB of data is sent as 1 packet, in theory, there will be at least 1 bit of data in error every time it is sent, then this 1KB of data Can never be received correctly. If it is divided into 10 packets, each packet of data is 100B, after sending 10 packets, only 1 packet will be wrong according to the probability, and the wrong 1 packet will be retransmitted once in the form of ARQ, although 1 more packet of information is sent, efficiency reduced by about 10%, it can ensure that all information is received correctly.
- In terms of setting parameters, BT-877 no longer uses the jumper method used by traditional wireless modules on the market to change the parameters, because this causes poor contact during long-term use, few options, dynamic changes are not easy, and many inconveniences. JZX877 uses the serial port to set parameters conveniently and quickly, and the setting refers to easy to be embedded in the user's single-chip program and background operation software. At the same time, the module provides 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200/38400bps six speeds and 16 frequencies; provides UART/TTL, RS232, RS485 three interface methods for users to choose.
- In terms of working methods, BT-877 has two working methods:
  The first is the normal mode, that is, the module is in the receiving mode when it is powered on; at the same time, the user can also send data.
  The second is the sleep mode, that is, when the power is turned on, the module is in a sleep state, and the user must control the wake-up pin of the module before the module can send and receive data.
- When the BT-877 module is used, the module has a wider voltage range. The 5V power supply module has a DC voltage of 4.5-5.5V. The power supply used by the user is a DC power supply, and the current must be greater than 500mA, but a power supply with a good ripple factor should be selected.
