Crystal Oscillator Tester High & Low Frequency + FC-4000 Frequency Meter 50Hz-4GHz AT Command Version
Crystal Oscillator Tester:
Provide test equipment for passive and active crystal oscillator testing, and perform signal conditioning on crystal oscillator output signal so that frequency meter can automatically detect. It can be combined with mechanical structure for pipeline testing.
FC-4000 Frequency Meter (50Hz~4GHz):
High-precision radio frequency counter, plus AT command set, can interact with PC, embedded system, automatic mutual test system.
Frequency Meter AT Command Set:
Provide users with a secondary development interface, users can write corresponding supporting programs according to automatic testing needs to achieve pipeline testing.

Crystal Oscillators Test Steps:
Test Passive Crystal Oscillators:
a.In-line Package (DIP)
1.To determine measured crystal oscillator frequency, proceed as follows.
No. 1: Frequency Range: 32.768 kHz~1 MHz; Operation: For example 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. P5, P6 are connected with jumper caps.
No. 2: Frequency Range: 1MHz~32 MHz; Operation: P5, P6 disconnect the jumper cap.

2.Test passive in-line packaged crystal oscillator (DIP) in passive crystal oscillator test area, insert in-line crystal pins into crystal oscillator card holder, as shown in the figure above, press down on handle to clamp crystal oscillator.
3.With Micro USB 5V power supply, right DIP OUT SMA can measure crystal oscillator output signal.
Attention:
As shown in the above figure, 1 and 2 are all matching capacitors of in-line crystal oscillator. Default value is 15pF, and adjustable range is 5pF to 20pF. If there is no signal output from DIP OUT, crystal oscillator output signal can be obtained by appropriately increasing or decreasing matching capacitance according to crystal oscillator manual.
b.SMD Package

1.Put passive SMD crystal oscillator to be tested into corresponding package measurement area (5032(4p), 3225(4p), 2520(4p), 3215(2p), 5032(2p)), as shown in the figure above. Lightly press crystal oscillator to make good contact (mechanical tentacles can be used during automated testing).
2.To determine measured crystal oscillator frequency, proceed as follows.
No. 1: Frequency range: 32.768 kHz~1 MHz. Operation: For example 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. P7, P8 are connected with jumper caps.
No. 2: Frequency range: 1MHz~32 MHz. Operation: P7, P8 disconnect the jumper cap.
3.Powered by Micro USB 5V, crystal oscillator output signal can be measured by DIP OUT SMA on the right.
Attention:

Test Active Crystal Oscillators:
Active Crystal Oscillator Test Area:
- Pin 1: 5V pin;
- Pin 2: Crystal oscillator voltage (VCC) pin;
- Pin 3: 3.3V voltage pin;
- Pin 4: Ground (GND) pin;
- Pin 5: Special voltage (the working voltage of crystal oscillator is not 5V or 3.3V).
Active Crystal Oscillator Test Steps:
1.Put active patch crystal oscillator to be tested into corresponding measurement area of 7050, 5032, 3225, and 2520, as shown in the figure above. Lightly press crystal oscillator to make good contact (use a mechanical nozzle to touch the pressure during automated testing).
2.Crystal oscillator power supply options:
Crystal oscillator 5V supply voltage:
When crystal oscillator is powered by 5V, connect 5V (pin 1) and VCC (pin 2) in the figure below with a jumper cap;
Crystal oscillator 3.3V supply voltage:
When crystal oscillator is powered by 3.3V, connect 3.3V (pin 3) and VCC (pin 2) in the figure below with a jumper cap;
Crystal oscillator external power supply:
When crystal oscillator needs an external power supply, directly connect the positive pole of power supply to V external (pin 5), and the negative pole to GND (pin 4).
Attention:
- Choose only one crystal oscillator power supply voltage. Be careful not to short circuit (do not connect power supply to ground).
- Powered by Micro USB 5V, lightly press crystal oscillator in the card slot, then crystal oscillator output signal can be measured on the right SMA.
