Dgm V2.1 Open Source Brushless Motor Driver Board Kit with Brushless Motor & Mounting Brackets
Description:
DGM driver is a highly integrated, high-efficiency, high-power-density, open-source (hardware schematic, firmware source code) brushless motor driver. It is easy to use the brushless motor driver.
Features:
- FOC control method is adopted
- Motor cogging torque pulse compensation is supported
- Ultra-small size: the driver board is about 4cm x 4cm/1.6" x 1.6" (LxW)
- Six 60V/170A MOSFETs are used
- Wide voltage range power supply (12V~48V)
- Cortex-M4 with hardware floating point unit as the main controller
- Magnetic encoder and induced magnet concentricity offset compensation is supported
- The matching DGM Tool visual commissioning software enables convenient configuration and commissioning
- It supports automatic measurement of motor-related parameters and generates current loop control gain based on motor parameters
- Based on 12bit ADC three-phase current sensing, phase current measurement range is -30 to +30A, and the full-scale resolution is 15mA
- There is a single-turn absolute magnetic encoder chip with a resolution of up to 18 bits. It enables precise position control. There is no need to calibrate the motor encoder every time the power is applied
Typical Applications:
- AGV
- Robotic exoskeleton
- Cobot joints
- Model airplane BLDC motor
- Robot end-effector
- Highly integrated servo motor
Product Specifications:
- Input voltage: 12V~48V
- Output current: 10ARMS
- PWM frequency: 20KHz
- Standby power consumption: 0.72W
- Supported motor types: Three-phase permanent magnet motor/BLDC/PMSM
- Encoder Type: Single-turn absolute magnetic encoder integrated in driver board (18bit resolution)
- Communication interfaces: CAN bus, UART and IO
- Control modes: torque climbing, speed climbing, position filtering and trajectory position
Note:
- The above parameters represent the limit parameters without special description. Exceeding these limit parameters will likely cause the driver to be damaged!
- Other items pictured are not included, for demonstration purposes only. Thank you for your understanding!
Package Included:
- 1 x DGM driver board
- 2 x Cables
- 1 x Magnet for magnetic encoder
- 1 x 42 brushless motor
- 1 x PCB mounting bracket
- 1 x Magnet mounting bracket
Packaging Details:
- G.W.: 0.6kg
Safe Power-on:
- Turn on the power supply safely. Small sparks will be created when the power cord is manually connected using an alligator clip. This is due to capacitor charging and is normal.
- Note: It is recommended to reconfirm whether the positive and negative poles are connected correctly before powering on, so as to avoid damage to the DGM driver board caused by reverse connection!
- When the power supply is turned on, the PWR green indicator on the dgm driver board will stay on and the blue ACT indicator will start flashing. The blue ACT indicator light indicates the current operating status of the driver by different flashing frequencies.
Debugging with the DGM Tool
- DGM Tool is an easy-to-use visual host computer debugging software specially developed for DGM drivers. Currently, it can only be connected to a PC via a CAN-FD module.
- Dgm tool is suitable for Windows 8 and above 64-bit operating systems. Double-click the dgm_tool_x64-X.X.exe in the dgm_tool folder to run.
