End Fed Antenna Field SDR HF Antenna 50W 1:64 Balun 6-Band 1.8-50Mhz 1.8Mhz 7Mhz 14Mhz 21Mhz 28Mhz
Description:
This antenna is a portable end feed antenna in the field. It weighs only 190g/0.4 lb, making it portable and easy to carry. It adopts oxygen-free copper vibrator with high emission efficiency. It adopts 1:64 balun to realize multi-band natural resonance (7MB, 14m, 21m, 28m and 50MB). It supports a variety of erection methods, and the reception performance is 1-2s better than that of GP antenna. It is an ideal field antenna.
Due to its excellent portable performance, it is very suitable for frequent outdoor activities, mountaineering, camping and field station erection. Working with a QRP radio, it can often achieve good communication effect in the field. It is recommended that the erection height is more than 4m/13.1ft. If the erection height is 6m/19.7ft, the performance will be ideal.
40m/131.2ft long line is used with a fishing boat to make storage convenient and quick. The fishing wheel belt enables one-way locking and left and right switching. There is no need to worry about knots and winding.
Packing List:
1) 1:64 balun * 1
2) aluminum fishing wheel * 1
3) 0.5mm pure copper vibrator 20m/65.6ft
4) 0.5mm fishing line 15m/49.2ft
Main Parameters:
1) Frequency range: 7/14/21/28MHz (natural resonance in these four frequency bands)
2) Input impedance: 50 Ω (unbalanced)
3) Output impedance: 3200 Ω (unbalanced), suitable for long line short wave antenna
4) Balun transformation ratio: 1:64
5) Balun interface: sl16k (M female)
6) Standing wave ratio: less than 1:1.5
7) Withstand power: 70W (SSB CW < 70W, FM AM FSK FT8 < 50W)
8) Overall size: 63 x 58 x 35mm/2.5 x 2.3 x 1.4"
9) Net weight: 190g/0.4 lb
10) maximum pulling force of shredded fish: 6kg/13.2 lb
11) Maximum tensile force carried by enameled wire: 3.5kg/7.7 lb
12) Maximum tensile force of stainless steel lifting ring: 8kg/17.6 lb
Erection Methods:
1) horizontal erection (recommended):
Horizontal erection requires 2 support rods, and the effect is ideal.
2) cable remained erection:
The second is cable-stayed erection, which can be less than a strut, and the other end can be nailed to the ground or thrown into a tree.
3) inverted V erection:
For inverted V erection, the support rod should be made of insulating material. Hang about 1/3 of the vibrator on top of the support rod, pull down both ends and fix it with ground nails.
Materials Needed:
1) feeder line * 1
Given the limited tensile capacity of the vibrator, the total mass of the feeder should be within 500g/1.1 lb. It is recommended to use RG316 wire, and the loss of 10m is about 1.7db.
2) 6m/19.7ft support rod * 1
It is recommended to use a net reading rod or fishing rod, as shown in Figure 1.
3) Wind rope * 2
One of the wind ropes has been used against the tension of the aerial vibrator. The use method is shown in Figure 1. It is fixed on the ground opposite the tension direction of the vibrator, and can be firmly tied with branches, ground nails, etc.
Another wind rope used to balun about 2-5m/6.6-16.4ft away from the support rod to prevent the support rod from affecting the antenna.
The fishing boat can't use the wind rope because it has brought its own 20m/65.6ft fishing line, which can be used as the wind rope.
Precautions:
1) The enameled wire used by the vibrator is relatively thin. When using, pay attention not to bend or wind to avoid breaking.
2) The antenna is a portable antenna used in the field and is not suitable for longtime erection.
3) If it needs to be erected for a long time, replace the solid vibrator by yourself.
4) Balun resistance power 70W, long time transmission, pay attention to the change of standing wave ratio.
5) Balun uses a waterproof box shell, but because there are holes in the top, don't use it in rainy days.
