Four-quadrant Detector:

- The size is 40mm x 40mm x 15mm/1.6" x 1.6" x 0.6" (LxWxT). The photosensitive diameter is 10mm/0.4", the light inlet is threaded, and the internal thread size is M12. There is a 4.5 through-hole under the U-ring of the detector, which can be used to fix the detector.
- The end connector of the lead of the four-quadrant detector (lead length is about 1.5m/4.9ft): the interface is a 5P terminal (2.54 mm pitch).

Acquisition Driver Board:

Introduction to Use:
- The use of this position detector module is very simple: the light passes through the light inlet of the position detector to its photosensitive surface. Insert the USB port of the included USB to RS232 module into your computer, open the included software and select the COM port, and the position information of the spot can be displayed on the software. After the position detector is fixed, the position of the spot on its photosensitive surface corresponds to the position displayed by the software. For example, if the spot is actually located in the upper left corner of the sensitive surface, the red dot on the software that indicates the location of the spot will also be displayed in the upper left corner of the cross. If the spot is in the lower right corner of the photosensitive surface, the red dot will also appear in the lower right corner of the cross.
- This position detector module can be used to monitor the pointing stability of laser beams. According to the obtained spot position information, the beam can also be stabilized at a certain direction by adjusting some frames. It is also possible to use solar energy by imaging to determine the direction of sunlight and track sunlight.
- For tracking divergent light sources, a small lens can be installed at the light inlet of the position detector to track the position of the light source by imaging. And the lens is a standard M12 mount, which is very common on the market.
- When the incident laser intensity is high, an appropriate attenuation plate should be added in front of the detector entrance to avoid pixel voltage saturation.
