FS-8P 8-Channel High Precision Calibration Fast LED Analyzer HSI/RGB/XY Chroma/Main Wavelength LED Tester

Description:

- The FAST-P series LED analyzer is an instrument used to test HSI (hue, saturation, intensity), RGB (red, green, blue content of a single LED), XY chromaticity, dominant wavelength, and color temperature of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) during the testing process. Users can use the analyzer to install up to 20 x 1mm flexible fiber optic and light guide probes on the LED that needs to be tested. The LED light is guided and transmitted to the raw data storage location of the LED analyzer through a light guide probe and fiber optic cable. Users can read the data through the RS232 interface or USB-C interface.

Color and Saturation:
- Colors can be represented by a 360° circular color wheel. The three main RGB values can also be represented as a single value called Hue. Hue is the measurement position wheel on color, expressed in degrees. For example, the hue value of red is close to 0°, the hue value of green is close to 120°, and the hue value of blue is close to 240°. Solid colors will be represented on the color wheel as points near the outer edge. White will be represented by a point near the center of the wheel. The whiteness of LED will affect its position on the wheel - the greater the whiteness, the closer it is to the center. A saturation value of 0% indicates pure white value.
- A saturation value of 95-100% indicates a solid color, such as red, blue, green, etc. It is a relative output that is roughly the same as the relative intensity output, similar to comparing the color of the tested LED. The saturation value in the FAST LED analyzer is calculated relative to the measured LED for each channel of the LED analyzer. In lamps with similar structures, for LEDs of similar colors, the saturation readings of all FAST LED analyzers are consistent. Typically, users must test multiple LEDs to determine hue and saturation values and record the results.
- All colors are derived from three primary colors: red, green, and blue (RGB). RGB or hue values are used to identify different colored LEDs. Each LED tested by the LED analyzer generates a set of RGB values for analysis. These values will be automatically converted into hue and saturation, and can be read through RS232 or USB ports.

Brightness:
- Brightness is a measure of the amount of light emitted by an LED. The analyzer tests the intensity of each LED and outputs the value to the testing system. The value output is a number in the range of 0-99999. The analyzer is calibrated according to fixed standards, and all measurements are relative. The brightness output reading is not a part of the international unit system and is not an absolute or traceable color measurement unit. It is a system that describes the hue saturation and relative intensity (HSI) of colors.

Factors Affecting Brightness Measurement:
- The position of the fiber optic cable relative to the LED.
- Offset from the optical center of the LED.
- The gap between the end of the fiber optic guide and the LED under test.
- The condition of the fiber optic end. It is necessary to use a 90 cut to maintain cleanliness.
- Is the LED static or flashing?
- External influences on nearby LEDs and environmental lighting.
- The light guide probe currently in use.
