Description:

The GDX-3 HIFI version power filter utilizes imported cores to manufacture common-mode chokes, employs wires for PRYSMIAN (which are currently out of stock in the market, leading to a doubling of their price), and features original power input sockets for Aucharm. It is hand-assembled with no breakpoints in the wiring from the switch to the output. The sockets are crafted using a crimping process, ensuring reliability and smoothness. It is capable of powering devices up to 3000W.

The chassis is entirely made of aluminum, with dimensions of 170mm in width, 150mm in height, and 258mm in depth. The front panel is 8mm thick. And the main unit weighs 5kg.

If your equipment's transformer emits a humming noise, which can vary in intensity, it is recommended to opt for a circuit that eliminates DC interference to suppress the transformer hum!

The effectiveness is evident, with mains noise measured at 100 and output noise tested at 0.7.

To ensure high current capacity and smooth, unobstructed power flow, we have implemented two key design features:
1. We use 2.5mm² internal wiring for current conduction, which equates to a direct conductor diameter of 1.78mm. The current does not pass through any circuit board. For comparison, the typical copper thickness on circuit boards is about 0.035mm, and even with double thickness, it's only 0.07mm. Clearly, our 1.78mm wire is on an entirely different level! The difference in size and capacity is obvious at a glance.
2. We ensure that all wiring is continuous with no breakpoints in the middle. This eliminates any internal resistance caused by solder joints or potential soldering defects, ensuring absolutely smooth and efficient current flow.

Features:
1. Imported EI105 Square-Shaped Iron Core Inductor
We use high-quality imported EI105 iron cores, wound into common-mode choke coils. These have excellent anti-saturation capability and can handle large currents. This is the key difference compared to standard power filters. In regular environments, the difference may not be obvious. However, when facing strong electrical interferences—such as surges, kilovolt-level pulse groups, or large dynamic swings in your audio system—the coil current spikes instantly. If using smaller ferrite rings with high permeability, they quickly enter magnetic saturation, losing inductance and letting interference pass through into your system. This results in blurred sound and poor soundstage performance. Our iron core inductors, on the other hand, effectively resist all surges and high-voltage pulse groups. Even when large currents hit the system, they continue to suppress interference. This craftsmanship is labor-intensive, as each unit is meticulously hand-made.

2. Direct, Continuous Wiring from Switch to Output
From the switch, capacitors are connected in parallel, leading into the choke, and then capacitors are again connected in parallel before outputting to the socket. There are absolutely no breakpoints in the entire path. The current flows directly through wires, all meticulously handcrafted, ensuring a smooth and unimpeded current flow. This is a significant advantage over conventional filters, as the current does not pass through any circuit board but goes directly from input to output.

3. Hand-Assembled Wiring with Crimping Process
All wiring connections are manually assembled, and the socket connections utilize a crimping process to ensure strong, reliable contact.

4. Audiophile-Grade Materials
For both input and output sockets, we use premium Aucharm components, well-known for their high performance in HIFI audio systems.

5. High-Quality Power Cable
We use original power cables for PRYSMIAN, which are widely recognized by audiophiles for their excellence and are manufactured in the UK.
