GPSDO GPS Disciplined Oscillator GPS Disciplined Clock 10MHz GPS Frequency Standard Sine Wave
Description:
GPS
can realize the determination of position. Its principle is to
determine the distance between the receiver and a certain satellite by
calculating the propagation time difference between the signal sending
time and the receiving time. By measuring the position relationship with
different satellites, the geographic location of the receiver is
determined. In this process, it is very important to determine the
precise time of signal emission. It can be said that the accuracy of GPS
positioning directly depends on the accuracy of the clock on GPS
satellite. In order to ensure the accuracy of the clock, a very precise
atomic clock is used on the satellite and is corrected by the ground
station every day. The on-board clock also corrects the relativistic
time changes caused by the high-speed movement of the satellite by
calculating relativity errors. Theoretically, through such a series of
methods, the GPS satellite clock can be accurate to about 14
nanoseconds.
The signal sent by GPS carries the time stamp of the
exact time when the signal was transmitted. Because of the high
accuracy of the on-board clock, the long-term characteristics of the
time stamp of this signal are very stable. However, considering the
influence of interference, propagation attenuation and multipath effects
in the signal propagation, its short-term stability is not high.
Although ordinary oscillators can generate very high-precision signals
in a short time, they will drift with the passage of temperature,
working time and other environmental factors-that is, its long-term
stability not good. GPS tame clock is just such a device that combines
the advantages of the two.
GPS disciplined clocks are mostly used as reference source for precision measuring instruments, and some are used in daily life.
Color Screen Display:
* Real-time GPS signal strength
* Date and time (default time zone UTC+8)
* Real-time latitude and longitude display
Frequency Accuracy:
* Less than 1e-8, up to 1e-10
Frequency Stability:
* Short-term frequency stability is less than 3e-10
* Long-term frequency stability is less than 2e-10, as shown in the figure below.

Reference Oscillator:
* 10MHz SC cutting constant temperature crystal oscillator (OCXO)
GPS Receiver:
*
Using high-precision 4-mode (for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou)
receiver, timing accuracy <30ns, positioning accuracy <5m/16.4ft.
Power Supply & Power Consumption:
*
This product uses a 6V-9V optional wide power adapter for power supply,
the maximum input power is 9W. Due to the characteristics of the
reference oscillator, the power consumption at first startup is about
5W, and the power consumption after stabilization is always less than
3W.

After the GPS disciplined clock is powered on, the meanings of these two lights on and off are as follows:
* FREQ LOCK: Off; GPS LOCK: Flash – Please insert GPS antenna.
* FREQ LOCK: Always on (flash); GPS LOCK: On – It is calibrating frequency.
* FREQ LOCK: Off; GPS LOCK: On – Frequency has been calibrated.
* FREQ LOCK: On; GPS LOCK: Off – Product failure.
* FREQ LOCK: Off; GPS LOCK: Off – Product failure.
