How to Adjust Blade Height:
- Under normal circumstances, users do not need to adjust the height of the blade, because we have checked its height before shipping. In the event of an abnormality, first use a cotton swab (do not dip it in alcohol) to clean the rubber surface of the fiber holder and the edge of the blade to eliminate the poor cutting caused by dirt.
- The performance of low blade position: Uncut fiber; there are bumps (tails or notches); broken cores; bevels
- The performance of high blade position: The fiber has cracks; the end face has shadows; the angle is large
- If it is confirmed that there is something wrong with the blade height, please deal with it according to the following methods. 1. Increase the height of the blade: First loosen screw II counterclockwise 1/8 turn, then tighten screw III clockwise. 2. Lower the blade height: First loosen screw III counterclockwise 1/8 turn, and then tighten screw II clockwise. (Note: Rotate the blade up to 1/8 of a turn each time you change the height of the blade.)
- Make sure the blade height is adjusted: Place a piece of 20mm/0.8" stripped bare fiber on the stainless steel rubber pad, and push the cleaver holder so that the tip of the blade slightly touches the fiber.
