Optical Transmitter Module:
Description:
The
transmitter of the high-speed optical communication module is a module
that can convert any input voltage signal into an optical signal and
emit it through a laser emitting tube of a specific wavelength. The
default emission wavelength of this module is 1310nm, the highest
modulation frequency can reach 150MHz, the minimum pulse width of pulse
modulation can be 2nS, and the rising and falling edges are less than
2nS. It is usually used in pulsed light conversion and some places such
as femtosecond speed measurement. The minimum pulse width resolution of
the module is 1nS, and the high pulse width resolution improves the
accuracy of the optical sensor field, especially in the femtosecond
speed measurement. The module is compatible with most high-speed and
low-power laser emission tubes. The module is also suitable for optical
applications such as CCD imaging and avalanche photodetection, and can
be used for high-speed photodetection, light pulse detection and
fluorescent substance detection.

Precautions:
(1) The power supply of the module is a 9V DC power supply. Please not supply power over voltage.
(2) Since the module is a high-speed sensitive device, pay attention to the polarity and voltage of the input signal.
(3)
For the input signal, it is recommended to use a wire with a length of
SMA interface not exceeding 50cm/19.7" to input the signal to ensure
good grounding performance. When measuring high voltage, use a
high-voltage attenuation probe. Poor contact or poor-quality wire may
cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.
(4) Please not bend the output fiber excessively, otherwise it may affect the signal size and signal quality.

FAQ:
Q1: Is there a higher power optical output module?
A1:
All kinds of driver modules in our shop are under development one after
another, including modules with higher power and more wavelengths.

Q2: After the signal is input, there is no light output.
A2:
Since the 1310nm wavelength band is invisible light, it cannot be
observed with the naked eye, so it can be measured with a power meter.
And check if the input is correct.
Q3: Is it possible to use batteries and other equipment for power supply?
A3: Yes. As long as the voltage and current requirements of the module are met, 9V 1A is enough.
