Description:
1602 character LCM module is used in the production of electronic display module. 1602 screen is required for 8/4 + 4 data / to control pins, but we provide the serial port 1602 module which only requires 2 data pins, saving the IO port resources. 1602 series is complex, and we provide the serial 1602LCM module can be directly used in serial communication, provide 7 simple commands to achieve all the display functions. The backlight is blue.

Serial port 1602LCM module has 4 pins: VCC, GND, TX and RX. Can be directly connected to the Arduino and MEGA sensor expansion board by using electronic building blocks connection cable. If connected to other SCM, only to provide 5V power supply, RX TX and SCM serial connection, you can achieve the display control.

The serial baud rate is 9600 kbps. Screen contrast can be adjusted through the back of the potentiometer.

Provides 7 serial command to achieve a simple display control:
1. SC - cls instruction;
2. SDX, y, set the coordinate, x, y,is the horizontal line and vertical line, x,can select 0, 1, y can select 0-15
3. ssxxxxxxx; - displays the string in the set of coordinates, xxxxx for the display of the string content;
4 sbx; - backlight settings, SB0,turn off the backlight SB1, turn on backlight;
5 sux; - cursor setting, SU1;  display the cursor
6 SFX; - the cursor flashing setting, sf0;  the normal mode, SF1  the cursor flashing mode;
7 SMX; - cursor movement settings. SM0; a cursor moves to left; SM1; the cursor moves to the right;

After sending a command, serial 1602lcm module will reply the implementation and reply to O for correct execution, can send a command then, if reply E for the wrong instruction,resend.
