User Manual Download:

Description:
- The KC761B radiation multi-meter uses a 25.4 x 10 x 10mm CsI scintillation detector and a 16mm² PIN sensor, with a built-in multi-channel analyzer that can display energy spectra and dose rate curves, and can store and export data.
- When used according to the manual, the energy resolution of 662keV gamma rays is guaranteed to be no less than 7.8%, the typical resolution is 7.5%, and the energy uncertainty is guaranteed to be no less than ±(2%+10keV) and the typical value is ±(1%+5keV) when leaving the factory.

- CsI sensors have extremely high sensitivity, with high-energy gamma efficiency far superior to Geiger counters, and can clearly display environmental background radiation and various types of weak radiation. Being able to accumulate over a long period of time and discover subtle differences in the radiation levels of different natural materials.
- For dose rate display, energy compensation is used from background to 100μGy/h with good accuracy, and dose equivalent rates (H10) are provided in units of μSv/h; Above 100μGy/h without energy compensation, used for event reporting.

- Equipped with a built-in thermometer and barometer, it can display the altitude obtained through pressure conversion.
- Energy saving design, using alkaline dry batteries can continuously power on and work for 300 hours (better than 10 days).
- Nickel metal hydride/nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries can be used, which automatically charge the battery when connected to an external power source and automatically stop when fully charged.
- Supports USB and POE power supply, network port and Bluetooth data transmission, TF card storage, and can be used for continuous monitoring.
- PC software KCSDI, download from the official website for Sci Tech Innovation: https://www.kechuang.org/m/100005/a/597

- Data can be viewed through Bluetooth on the mobile app, and KC761 can be downloaded by searching on the official platform for Google Play Store and Apple Store.
- KCSDI also has a mobile version, which is suitable for KC761 to access through wired network and mobile phones to access applications in the same network segment through WIFI. Search for KCSDI installation on the platforms for Google and Apple official stores.

- The entire machine and sensors are designed to be waterproof, with a nominal waterproof rating of IP65.
- Flame retardant shell.
- The allowable working temperature is -10~65℃ (with 0~50℃ to ensure the index, -40~-10℃ display screen failure, other functions are allowed to be used, and can be restored after heating).

Applicable to:
- Energy spectrum analysis, nuclide identification
- Surrounding dose monitoring and sensor network
- Security, radiation warning for living environment

Features:
- KC761 is a radiation multimeter based on an energy spectrometer, and dose (equivalent) rate readings are for reference only. Users can calibrate (set coefficients) themselves.
- The rated value is the level that most products can achieve in common scenarios and is not guaranteed.
- The battery life is a typical value under backlight off and background radiation environment, and is also related to battery quality, enabled functions, and radiation level.
- Some functions are not yet open and can only be used after the release of the new version of the software. Users who purchase before the corresponding software release need to upgrade the software themselves.
- When using Ethernet ports, USB or POE power should be used because the power consumption of these functions exceeds the economic load range of dry batteries.
- Please read the user manual carefully before use. Only for professionals to use according to the manual and manufacturer's regulations. Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to disassemble the instrument.

Improvements:
- Low energy extension: reduces the low energy threshold from 30keV to 9keV, covering soft X-rays, greatly expanding the application range.
- Power improvement: supports charging nickel hydrogen/nickel cadmium batteries through Type-C interface. Reduce Bluetooth consumption and save super power.
- Resolution improvement: the resolution has been significantly increased from about 12% to 7.5%, reaching a professional level and improving the range and accuracy of nuclide identification.
- New generation PIN detector: improved semiconductor detector, significantly optimized a and β particle testing capabilities.
- Radical spectrum stabilization measures: the typical energy drift is as low as ± (2%+10)keV throughout the entire operating temperature range, and the uncertainty at room temperature is only (1%+5)keV, without the need for on-site calibration.

Core Technologies:
- Second generation gamma probe, Csl scintillator + SiPM: about 50 times more sensitive than ordinary Geiger tubes, capable of measuring extremely small radiation changes.
- Improved energy resolution, significantly improved compared to the previous generation probe.
- Multi compensation algorithm, fearless of environmental changes.
- The instrument has a second probe installation space inside, which can be optionally equipped with neutron sensors (not included), etc.
- The 16mm² PIN sensor is installed in a specially designed housing and covered with Mylar film to prevent light interference. Can be used to detect alpha and beta rays.
