Using Method:
(1) Press the switch button and wait for two horizontal lines to appear on the display.
(2) Place sampling cup under nipple 1, and squeeze milk directly into the sampling cup. The milk must be full, at least not below the graduation mark.
(3) After 2 seconds, press the power button again to start the test, and the test result will be displayed on the screen.
(4) Pour the tested milk into an empty bucket (shake it gently to remove the remaining liquid in the sampling cup).
(5) Repeat the above steps to detect nipples 2, 3, and 4. Immerse the sampling cup in clean water, turn it over, and wash away the remaining milk.
Data Interpretation:
1. The reading is above 300 units: the milk quality is good, the cow is healthy (in terms of mastitis infection), and the probability of mastitis is small.
2. The reading is between 300 and 250 units: As the reading becomes smaller, the possibility of infection with mastitis increases.
3. The reading is below 250 units: With the rapid transition from recessive mastitis to dominant mastitis, the infection becomes more and more serious. From the perspective of somatic cells, the cells have increased from less than 1 million to millions.
Attention:
1. When recessive mastitis is detected in a breast, the sampling cup should be thoroughly cleaned to avoid residual milk from affecting the next milk test.
2. It should measures the first three batches of milk every day.
3. The meter is only for recessive mastitis (the test result of dominant mastitis is no different from healthy cows)
4. The electrode must be cleaned during measurement. When the milk is directly squeezed into the measuring cup for measurement, the milk must not be lower than the scale line on the inner wall of the sampling cup.
5. During general measurement: If the measurement result is A300, B310, C300, D230, it means that the D nipple is infected with mastitis. (When the reading of one milk area is less than 50 units in other milk areas, it means that your dairy cattle has been infected with mastitis. Older cows with a value less than 250 units may also be infected).
