Description:

- LMX2572 is a low-power, high-performance broadband synthesizer that can generate any frequency between 12.5MHz and 6.4GHz without the need for an internal multiplier. This PLL can provide excellent performance, while the current consumption in a 3.3V single power supply is only 75mA.
- For digital mobile radio (DMR) and wireless microphone needs, LMX2572 supports for FSK modulation. It supports discrete level FSK and pulse shaping FSK. Discrete digital FSK modulation can be implemented through programming or pins.
- LMX2572 allows users to synchronize the outputs of multiple devices and supports applications that require a certain delay between input and output. LMX2572 provides an option for precise phase adjustment to address delay mismatch issues on circuit boards or within devices. The frequency ramp generator can synthesize up to 2 ramp segments in either the automatic ramp generation option or the manual option for maximum flexibility. By using a fast calibration algorithm, users can change the frequency in less than 20μs. LMX2572 also supports generating or repeating SYSREF (compliant with JESD204B standard), making it an ideal low-power, low-noise clock source for timing high-speed data converters. This configuration provides fine delay adjustment to address delay differences in board traces.
- LMX2572 integrates an LDO powered by a 3.3V single power supply, eliminating the need for onboard low-noise LDOs.
