Description:

-LMX2594 is a high-performance broadband synthesizer that can generate any frequency in the range of 10MHz to 15GHz without using an internal doubler, so there is no need to use sub-harmonic filters. The high-performance PLL with a quality factor of -236dBc/Hz and a high phase detector frequency can achieve very low in-band noise and integrated jitter. The high-speed N divider has no prescaler, which significantly reduces the amplitude and number of spurs. There is also a programmable input multiplier that reduces spurs on integer boundaries.
-LMX2594 allows users to synchronize the output of multiple devices, and can be used in situations where a delay is required between input and output. The frequency ramp generator can synthesize up to 2 ramps in the automatic ramp generation option or the manual option to achieve maximum flexibility. The frequency can be accelerated to more than 20μs through the fast calibration algorithm.
-LMX2594 adds support for generating or repeating SYSREF (compliant with JESD204B standard), making it an ideal low-noise clock source for high-speed data converters. In this configuration, a fine delay adjustment (9ps resolution) is provided to solve the delay difference of the board trace.
-The output driver in LMX2594 provides up to 7dBm output power when the carrier frequency is 15GHz. The device uses a single 3.3V power supply and has an integrated LDO, eliminating the need for an on-board low-noise LDO.
