Description:

Measurement Principle:
- Flow velocity measurement: under hydraulic propulsion, the flow velocity meter has a built-in signal device that generates a rotational speed signal. Therefore, the flow velocity can be calculated based on the total number of signals generated by the flow meter during a certain unit period using the following formula: V=bR/T + a [corresponding to the original standard V=KR/T + C (m/s)]
- In the formula:
V - average flow velocity during the flow measurement period (m/s)
b - propeller (or cup) hydraulic pitch (m)
A - constant of the flow meter (m/s)
T - duration of flow measurement (s)
R - total number of revolutions of the flow meter rotor during T period
- For an individual flow meter, b and a are constant values. Therefore, when measuring flow, as long as T and R values are measured, the flow velocity can be calculated.
- Flow measurement: Enter the type of the measured section and manually input (or measure through auxiliary sensors) the water level and width of the regular section to calculate the section area. The instrument also has Q=V*S to calculate the flow velocity Q value.
