Mini Robot Tank Vision Robot Car (without Screen) with Remote Control Featuring 4.3" Touch Screen
Features:
- ESP32 robot tank
- Controlled by APP for Android cellphones and remote control
- Real-time image transmission
- The remote control adopts a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen. It supports voice and image transmission, photography and Wifi
- The remote control distance depends on WiFi coverage range, generally about 50m/164ft. You can also directly use your mobile phone or the hotspot that comes with the remote control to control the car
- The default firmware is not open source, but we can provide open source circuit diagrams and reference routines, such as basic image transmission, voice-activated car, visual recognition, etc.
- The robot is ported with OpenMv firmware, which means that programming of robot vision functions such as obstacle avoidance and image recognition can be realized via Python
- The car's camera can move up and down and can be focused
- ESP32-S3 as main control chip and rubber tracks
- Compact size: 80 x 45 x 32mm/3.1 x 1.8 x 1.3"
- It supports USB charging
Parameters:
- APP running system: for Android cellphones (not for Apple)
- Main control chip: ESP32-S3, dual-core 240MHz
- Camera model: OV2640/OV5640 (Zoom)
- Image resolution: Settable. Minimum 240*176 and maximum 1600*1200. It is recommended not to exceed 1024*768
- Image quality: Configurable
- Image frame rate: The lower the image quality and resolution, the higher the frame rate. Generally between 1 and 10 frames
- Audio: APP has audio, while remote control does not
- Charging: Rechargeable (needs to be turned off when charging)
- Charging time: About 1 hour. When charging is complete, the indicator light will turn off
- Continuous running time: About 0.5-1 hour. It consumes more power when focusing
- Speed: 10cm/3.9" per second (adjustable)
- Camera angle: The angle is fixed and not adjustable
- Robot remote control distance: Without router, it is generally only more than ten meters. With router, it depends on how the router is distributed. For example, if the router covers the entire floor of an office building, then the control distance will be the entire floor
- Support remote: Not. Only LAN is supported
- Lighting: Multi-level dimming
- Robot dimensions: 80 x 45 x 32mm/3.1 x 1.8 x 1.3"
Package Included:
- 1 x Robot car without screen
- 1 x Remote control with 4.3" touch screen
Packaging Details:
- G.W.: 0.5kg/1.1lb
FAQ:
Q: Can I control it remotely?
A: No. Currently, it is only possible to communicate under the same router or hotspot, and the distance is usually only tens of meters.
Q: Can it be controlled remotely in the future?
A: Maybe, we'll try to upgrade.
Q: Can it be used for pipeline surveys?
A: Yes, but the following conditions must be met: the road condition is relatively good, the distance is within 50m/164ft, and non-metallic pipe (metal pipe will block the signal). You also have to consider that the robot may lose contact.
Q: How long can the robot run stably?
A: The operation of the robot is generally relatively stable. If something happens and you can't control the robot, it will restart and automatically restore the connection after a few seconds. The battery can last for more than 30 minutes.
Q: What do you use to control the robot? Is it ready to use?
A: Currently, it can by controlled by APP for Android cellphones and a remote control (optional). The robot is finished and ready to use.
Q: Do you provide robot source code, APP source code and 3D model?
A: No.
Q: Is there a routine?
A: At present, there are only old version reference routines, and there is no new version of the routine for the time being. We will update Ar-duino routine in the future.
Q: What information do you provide?
A: Circuit diagrams, APP and robot firmware can be provided. However, we do not provide any development and teaching services.
Q: Is it possible to re-develop?
A: You can refer to the circuit diagram and the routine (follow-up) to develop your own. The CPU is ESP32-S3. If the development fails, you can flash the firmware for recovery.
