Description:
NRL-7100 is specially designed for ICOM IC-7100. Through the network, NRL-7100 can be connected to the host and the panel of your transceiver.

You can put the transceiver host in one place, its panel and microphone in anther place. Through the network, NRL-7100 can realize operations such as remote SSB call and reception, frequency adjustment, button operation, powering on/off and CW.

Network Requirements:
- It uses short-packet communication. The internal network delay is about 10ms, and the server data round-trip delay is about 30ms (actually determined by the network environment).
- It uses conventional ordinary home broadband, telecommunications, mobile, and Unicom broadband.
- The public IP obtained by the router can be fixed IP, dynamic IP, and virtual IP (non-real public IP).
- Use a computer to PING this device in the intranet. The delay is required to be as short as possible, less than 5MS. And too large delay may cause the sound to be intermittent.
- It uses network cable interface, WIFI/4G and other interfaces need to be converted by themselves.
- It adopts real-time two-way full-duplex communication. The data duplex traffic is about 16KB/s, and it is about 58MB for one hour. For in-vehicle 4G applications, consider your own traffic.
- Use 4G or WIFI to bridge your phone hotspot. When the 4G signal is not good and the network speed is slow, it will cause voice lag, silent, slow operation, automatic shutdown and other phenomena.
- If the public IP obtained by both parties through routers can be directly pinged to each other, it can be directly interconnected through IP.
- If the public IP obtained by both parties through routers cannot be directly pinged to each other, they need to be interconnected through servers.

Host Controller + Panel Controller:
Box with HOST marked is for the host of IC-7100, and the box with PANEL marked is for the panel of IC-7100. The appearance of these two controllers are the same, while the internal circuit boards of these two are different.

Connecting Cable:
Use a regular 568B network cable. It is recommended to use a shielded network cable, the length of the network cable is within 2m/6.6ft.
