Overview:
1. Hardware
FlashPro5 is the programmer, which along with Windows, supports Linux platforms also such as RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 and CentOS 6, in conjunction with FlashPro Express software. It supports all FPGA devices in series for PolarFire, SmartFusion2, IGLOO2, RTG4, SmartFusion, Fusion, IGLOO, ProASIC3 and RT ProASIC3. The minimum version requirements to run FlashPro5, on Windows and Linux, are SoC for Libero, SoC PolarFire v1.1 for Libero or FlashPro v11.4.

2. Software
To work with FlashPro5 programmer you need FlashPro or FlashPro Express programming tools.

FlashPro or FlashPro Express tools are available as follows:
- Standalone Programming and Debug tool
- Integrated with SoC V11.9 or Earlier (for Libero) and SoC V12.0 or Later for Libero.

Notes:
1. FlashPro6 is required for Libero SoC v12.2 / FlashPro Express v12.2 / SmartDebug v12.2 software or later versions.
2. FlashPro5 is required for Libero SoC v11.4/Libero SoC PolarFire v1.1/ FlashPro v11.4 software or later versions.
3. FlashPro4 is required for Libero IDE v8.6 SP1 or FlashPro v8.6 SP1 software or later versions.
4. FlashPro and FlashProExpress software support our earlier discontinued hardware programmer FlashPro3 also. For more information, read the product discontinuation notification.
5. Flashpro6 for SPI-Flash Programming is required for Libero v12.3 / FlashProExpress 12.3 / SmartDebug v12.3 software or later version.
6. SoC v12.5 or later (for Libero) supports PolarFire SoC.
