Description:
USB Bit Whacker - 18F2553 Development Board is based on the PIC18F2553  SCM. Abbreviation USM. It is a small board with the basic input and output control command interpreter. When connected to the X Windows/OS / Linux computer, the UBW will display as a COM RS232 port! You can control  PIC on each O I/ pin via a simple serial command. The motherboard comes with a comprehensive test, pre programming and assembly.

The 18F2553 is also equipped with pre programmed USB boot program. This means you can create and use any compiler or assembler (C18, CC8e, Sdcc) hex file and load hex file to pic without the need for external programmer - directly through the USB. USB power supply and download.

You may start to download and install the latest version of the USB Framework Microchip installation file. Release notes provide detailed information about the location of the Comunications device class (CDC) RS-232 simulation driven INF file location. When you install, LED S1 will start flashing.
