Hall Sensing Technology
Traditional infrared sensor scans the positioning hole to locate, and the positioning accuracy depends on the size of the positioning hole. The smaller the hole, the higher the accuracy. But the aperture must have a diameter of at least 1mm, otherwise it is difficult to locate and produce. However, if a magnet is used on the filter disc, the Hall sensor can detect the center of the magnet and is much more accurate than the IR sensor.
Hybrid Stepping Motor
This super thin hybrid stepping motor can provide very smooth rotation. There is almost no vibration when the filter position is being changed.
Type-C Data Port
The thickness of the motor housing can be reduced by using the USB Type-C interface.
Supported Filters
Filter positions of Phoenix Wheel 7x2" support 2" mounted filters and 50mm unmounted filters. Need to check the thickness for 2" mounted filters:
