Description:
A mixer refers to the process of converting a signal from one frequency to another. Its essence is a process of linearly shifting the spectrum. It is a circuit in which the frequency of the output signal is equal to the sum, difference or other combination of the frequencies of the two input signals. RF mixer is often located after a LNA and processes the RF signal amplified by the LNA. In order to realize mixing, the mixer also needs to receive the LO signal from the voltage-controlled oscillator, and its circuit works in the radio frequency band.
