RF Signal Generator Frequency Synthesizer RF Synthesizer ADF4351 PLL Output 35MHz-4.4GHz

Application:

The ADF4351 development board is designed with reference to official circuit principles. The output frequency range is 35MHz-4.4GHz.

Technical Parameters:

- Output Frequency Range: 35MHz-4.4GHz (ADF4351)
- Power Supply Voltage: 4-9V (5VDC)
- Output Signal:
  2.2GHz-4.4GHz sine wave (fundamental wave);
35MHZ-2.2GHz (ADF4351) square wave (fundamental frequency division)
- Output Signal: Output is broadband; Signal strength: +5dBm (programmable setting)
- RF Connector: SMA female
- Control Interface: Three-wire SPI
- Reference Clock: 10.000MHZ (default). Can be connected externally through SMA interface
- Weight: 15g

Wiring Method:
This module can be connected using the LCD1602/LCD12864 module pins on the MCU (can be plugged upside down directly) to facilitate software debugging. It also features a lock indication. The pins correspond as follows:
LCD1602/LCD12864 to ADF4351
1. GND -------------------------------------------- GND
2. VDD (5V)-------------------------------------- VCC
3. VO ------------------------------------ NC (empty)
4. RS ------------------------------------ NC (empty)
5. R/W ------------------------------------- MUXOUT
6. EN ---------------------------------------------- CLK
7. DB0 ------------------------------------------- DATA
8. DB1 ----------------------------------------------- LE
9. DB2 ------------------------ CE (10K pulled up)
10. DB3 ---------------------------- GND (optional)

Reference Clock:
The default reference clock is 10.000MHZ active clock. The module can also connect an external reference clock signal. You need to use a soldering iron to modify the tee connection method. Connect EXT_REF as an external reference signal.

RF Output:
For convenience, the default output is broadband output. It outputs two differential signals. One-way signal can be used for output and the other can be used for monitoring output.
