ROOM40 Distortion Effector Rock Electric Guitar Overdrive Effects Pedal Replacement for Marshall PLEXI/JCM800

Description:

- Using for ifet technology, we strive to maintain faithful amperage to the following legendary Marshall tones and sensations: the non master volume series for PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP™ & JCM800™ (2203/2204). We emphasize imitating the compression and droop from the power amplifier section, while providing access to two famous modifications when these amplifiers are pushed to the edge, modification #39 (PLEXI™) And mod #34 (MP™ E JCMB00™). Finally, we have integrated Presence control, allowing the sound to be adjusted according to any situation, whether you are connected to the front end of an amplifier that may have a bright cap or even directly connected to a power amplifier.

- PLEXI™ Mode: Switch the switch (upward) at position 19. Imagine inserting a non master volume Plexi ™Amp (Super Smooth) ™ & Super bass™ with jump input. In this mode, the sound is crisp, open, and compressed less. Just like on authentic products, VOL I corresponds to high pitch input, VOL II corresponds to normal input, and they can be skipped (parallel), which means you can mix them according to your preferences. Through trial and error, we managed to reproduce the feeling of an actual amplifier, including cross channel leakage.

- JMP™ & JCM800™ Mode: Switch the switch at Z2 (downward). The two channels here are in cascade mode, just like on the main speaker JMP™. Next is JCM800™, in this mode, the sound is more compressed, rougher, and has a lot of persistence. VOL I is the pre speaker volume, and VOL II becomes the sound body, controlling the richness of low frequencies.

- VARIAC control: Adjust the internal voltage of the circuit to any value between 7.5V and 21V, just like Eddie did in his early amplifiers. The lower the voltage, the more relaxed the sound will appear, with a stronger sense of compression, less attack and margin, and more distortion at lower frequencies, giving it a more "pedal" feel. The higher the voltage, the crisper the sound, the more organic the tone, the greater the attack power and margin, and the overall volume feels like a tubular amplifier. Try different voltages based on the music environment you are playing, and discover hidden gems of timbre.

- EQ: Based on the classic 3-band EQ in the above amplifier. A lot of effort has been invested in matching the EQ specificity used in actual amplifiers.

- Presence: This control has a significant impact on the overall tone of the pedal. Starting from noon, it functions as a high-frequency cut-off filter, while starting from noon, it functions as a high-frequency amplifier, just like the presence in an actual amplifier. Use it to match the tone before any brighter or darker amplifier, as well as directly connect to a power amplifier.

- Boost: Gain while emphasizing mid to high frequencies to help penetrate the mix. You can control the gain amount through a dedicated tuner (preset in the center), which can be easily accessed through the holes on the pedal base plate. The gain part is integrated to approach two famous mods (#34 for JMP). ™ & JCM800™, #39 is PLEXI ™).
