Shortwave Telescopic Positive V Antenna Base + 2PCS 5.6m Telescopic Antennas for Amateur Radio DIY

Description:

- The short-wave V telescopic antenna base is a little smaller than before, making it easier to carry. With M connector (S0-239), it can be connected directly to a feeder.
- The bottom plate uses 5mm epoxy board, and the board is made by CNC cutting and punching. It is sturdy and has excellent insulation. Antenna interface is M female connector and M10 is used as a telescopic antenna port. Common 5.6m/18.4ft stainless steel telescopic antenna can be screwed on for use. After connecting the 5.6m/18.4ft antenna, adjust the length of the rod and the antenna can work at 14-54MHz, and the withstand power is 200W. The recommended erection height is 3m/9.8ft and above.
- The fixing parts are made of 304 stainless steel fasteners, and the black fixing rod in the center is made of solid aluminum alloy. The whole is processed by CNC lathe, and the surface is knurled and anodized. There are 1/4 and 3/8 internal threads on both ends. It can be attached to a common photographic tripod or light stand.
- To prevent back-flow of high-frequency current over the feeder sheath, a simple hollow choke can be wound around the feeder near the antenna end, as shown in the figure below.
- It can be used to DIY shortwave radio and telescopic antenna element. It can also be used to DIY positive V antenna, GP antenna and Yagi antenna.

Antenna Parameters:
- Unfolded length: 5.6m/18.4ft
- Number of Sections: 14 Sections
- Weight: 285g/0.6lb
- Folded length: 50cm/19.7" (including nut)
- Connecting nut: M10 (male thread)
- Diameter of the first section: 16mm/0.6"
- Distal diameter: 3.6mm/0.1"
- Material: 201 reinforced stainless steel

Special Process:
- The bottom 10 sections are all made with secondary reinforcing ribs, changing the force point and making it stronger and tighter. Of course, it will take a little more effort than ordinary telescopic antenna when folding and stretching. Therefore, it can reduce upright shaking and avoid automatic shrinkage to extend its lift span.
- When extending, it is recommended to pull out section by section from the top, and when retracting, retract section by section from the bottom.

Attention:
- The recommended height of a light stand is about 3m/9.8ft or above for better results.

Package Included:
- 1 x Antenna Mount
- 2 x Telescopic Antennas
