Connection and Installation of FA7 U:
FA7 U is connected to the computer via a USB cable, not through your wheel base, and does not require the use of your base's setup software. After connecting the steering wheel to the computer's USB port, you can bind the buttons on the steering wheel in the game after opening the game.
FA7 U can be installed on any wheel base, and you only need to buy a quick release for the relevant base.
- Example 1: If you have an SC base, buy another quick release with 70mm/2.8" hole spacing as you are using now!
- Example 2: If you have a MOZA or Simagic wheel base, or use D1 quick release, please contact customer service to buy a quick release with a 70mm/2.8" hole spacing for MOZA/Simagic wheel base or D1. You can choose a quick release without PCB connection wire, because it is more affordable.
- Example 3: If you are using an original wheel base for FANATEC, you need to buy a Podium Hub for FANATEC. If you are a modified user of quick release for FANETEC, then this matter will become easier.
- Example 4: No matter what brand of wheel bases you use, as long as you use a quick release with a 70mm/2.8" hole spacing, you can install FA7 U.
How to use the RGB LED lights and screen of FA7 U?
After FA7 U is connected to the computer via a USB cable, please contact after-sales service to obtain the simulation racing management software SIMHUB. Through this software, the screen and LED lights of FA7 U can be linked with racing games.
