Description:
- Qwiic Mux breakout supports communication with multiple I2C devices with the same address, simplifying the interface. Qwiic Mux Also has 8 configurable addresses, allowing up to 64 I2C buses on a connection. For more convenient use of this multiplexer, all communication is conducted via I2C and our convenient Qwiic system. Qwiic Mux also allows you to change the last three digits of the address byte, allowing eight jumpers if you happen to require multiple Qwiic Mux split points on the same I2C port. Address can be changed by adding a solder to any of the three ADR jumpers. Each Qwiic Mux split-point works between 1.65V and 5.5V, perfect for all the Qwiic boards we produce in-house. The Qwiic Connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables, which makes prototyping faster and less error-prone. All circuit boards that support Qwiic use a universal 1mm spacing, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the PCB space required, and the polarized connection means you don't get it wrong.
