Two Balance Mode:
1. Forced equalization mode: Press the black button on the balance board twice to to force equalization for 1 hour.
2. Continuous equalization mode: Press the white button (self-locking switch) to keep equalizing.
Attention: When the voltage of a single string of the battery pack is lower than 2.7V, the active balancing board will not start balancing (the ternary lithium battery is lower than 2.7V/the lithium iron phosphate battery is lower than 2.5V).
LED Status Indicators:
- Standby state: the LED of the positive side is always on, while the LED of the negative is off.
- Continuous equalization mode (press the white self-locking switch): the LED light of the positive side flashes and the LED of the negative is always on.
- Time-limited equalization state (press the black button twice): the LED light of the positive side flashes, while the LED of the negative is off.

Attention:
It is necessary to use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the balanced cable corresponding to the LED lamp with abnormal brightness and the voltage of the adjacent string to find out the wrong line sequence. Please wire it correctly and then plug in the balanced board for use.
Equalizing Current and Equalizing Time:
1.The standard equalizing current of the equalizing module and equalizer is the maximum current that can be output or absorbed by the product design, and is also the maximum current allowed to flow through the chip on this product.
2. When the equalizer is actually used to equalize the battery pack, the equalizing current is affected by the following factors:
2.1. Internal resistance of the battery pack;
2.2. The resistance of flat cable;
2.3. The contact resistance of plugin;
2.4. Voltage difference between battery cells (unbalanced situation)
A: The smaller the internal resistance of the battery pack, the greater the equalizing current
B: The smaller the resistance of wire and plug-in, the greater the equalizing current
C: The greater the battery voltage difference, the greater the equalizing current
3. The measurement method of the balance current:
Since the equalizing current is affected by the loop resistance, when it is connected to the ammeter, it will increase the loop resistance and reduce the balanced current, so it is not recommended to use a connected ammeter. In addition, disconnecting the equalizer line during normal equalization operation will cause damage to the equalizer, so only a DC clamp ammeter can be used to test the current.
4. Equalization time:
A: Under the condition of the same internal resistance of the battery, it can work in balance with the maximum current, and the time is shorter.
B: The equalization time of a large-capacity battery pack will be longer.
C: The smaller the equalization voltage difference, the longer the time.
D: When the equalization work is in the final stage, the voltage difference is very small and the current is small, so the period of time is also long.
E: When the active continuous online balance is used, the balance state is ideal, and the battery voltage difference can also be controlled between 30MV-80MV. This method does not need to pay attention to the time.
Read before Purchasing:
- It is mainly used for ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate battery packs to balance the voltage of each string of batteries. Before purchasing, please check whether the battery pack voltage difference is too large to cause poor battery life. If your battery is damaged, or the internal resistance is too large, starved, flooding, etc., the equalizer board is not for your batteries.
- Since this product operates at 5A, it is necessary to use the cable configured with the product to lead directly from the positive and negative terminals of the battery. The installation process involves the work of soldering and requires the user to have welding tools and certain welding skills.
Precautions for Use:
- Before the cable is removed from your protection board and connected to the balance board, make sure that the line sequence of the protection board is the same as that of the balance board. Reverse connection and wrong connection will damage the balance board and battery, so be careful.
- This equalization board is a maintenance accessory. For customers who need to assemble the battery pack for internal use, it is necessary to externally equalize it first to observe whether the battery state is abnormal. If the situation occurs, pull it out in time to terminate the operation, and contact customer service in time for consultation. After confirming that there is no abnormality, make insulation protection. Before connecting to the equalizing board, you need to use a voltmeter and a multimeter to test to ensure that the line sequence is correct.
- During the circuit test process, the customer must conduct on-site visual monitoring to prevent the occurrence of unsafe factors such as short-circuit, over-voltage, and over-temperature, you should immediately terminate the test and disconnect the circuit and give us immediate feedback.
