Unassembled General Purpose 4-Wire DMM Shorting Plug for Desktop 6-Bit and a Half Multimeter Calibration
Description:
- The General Purpose 4-Wire DMM Shorting Plug is used for input zero detection and verification of desktop 6-bit and a half multimeters, with functions equivalent to 8610/8620 for KEITHLEY, for Agilent 34172B, for FLUKE 884X-SHORT. The distance between the four banana heads and feet is 19.05mm, which is suitable for most desktop multimeters. The banana plug is pure copper plated with gold and comes with a beautiful shell. It also reserved the position of the resistor, and you can also put a standard resistor of RX-70 0.25W/0.5W inside to get a standard resistance source, and then directly plugged into the multimeter.
- Insert it on the multimeter and check if the DCV-100mV/2W or 4W range can be reset to 0. If it cannot be reset to 0, it indicates that there is something wrong with the multimeter and needs to be calibrated.

- There is difference between 4-wire shorting plug and 4-wire standard resistor, please ensure that you have chosen the correct one.
