The voltage follower module supports high input impedance and low output resistance.
Main Uses:
1. Buffering
To a certain extent, it can avoid the signal loss caused by high output impedance and small input impedance of the next stage.
2. Isolation
Because
the voltage follower has high input impedance and low output impedance,
it presents a high-impedance state to the upper circuit and a
low-impedance state to the next circuit. Thus, it is often used in the
intermediate stage to isolate the front and rear circuits and eliminate
the mutual influence between them.
3. Impedance matching and improving load capacity
The
characteristics of high input impedance and low impedance output of the
common circuit make it play a role in impedance matching in the
circuit, which can make the amplification circuit of the latter stage
work better.
Design Advantages:
1. MLCC + tantalum capacitor decoupling combination
The
decoupling capacitor effectively prevents parasitic oscillations caused
by the circuit passing through the positive feedback path formed by
power supply. The decoupling capacitor of MLCC and tantalum capacitor is
the main way to solve power supply noise. This is very effective in
increasing the response speed of transient currents and reducing the
impedance of power supply distribution system. This reduces the
impedance of power supply system, mitigating sound and reducing noise.
2. PCB heat dissipation
The
high-density use of vias in the copper area of the PCB forms an array
to improve longitudinal Z heat dissipation and allow the components on
the heating surface to cool down quickly. This can effectively avoid the
concentration of hot spots on the PCB, and reduce the on-chip reference
drift caused by the temperature rise of the chip.

Application:
Stacking Mode:
The
voltage follower module can be fixed by copper pillars to plug into a
power supply module in a wiring-free way. This greatly facilitates
testing and is very helpful for verification tests.
Modules
can also be stacked with copper pillars to share a single power supply
unit. This flexible design allows for the elimination of wiring
cumbersomeness for multiple modules.
