Function:

- Charging: Insert the charging port on the back to charge until the green light on, it is fully charged, and then disconnect it. (do not leave it in the dark for a long time or charge it unattended. Beware of battery aging, use safely and be cautious of fires. This device should not be charged while listening.)
- Power on: "ON" indicates power on, "OFF" indicates power off.
- Mute switch: "ON" means the mute state is turned on, and the mute switch button is "NOISE" means the mute state is turned off.
- Mode switching: "AM", which means it is in amplitude modulation mode. "NFM" refers to being in narrowband frequency modulation mode or frequency modulation mode.

Band switching:
- "VL" is in the L-band, with a frequency range of approximately 45-125MHz.
- "VH" refers to the H-band, with a frequency range of approximately 167-223MHz.
- "UHF" refers to the U-band, with a frequency range of approximately 300-870MHz.

Frequency coarse adjustment:
- Rotate the frequency coarse adjustment knob clockwise to increase the frequency from low to high.
- Rotate the frequency coarse adjustment knob counterclockwise, and the frequency will decrease from high to low.

Frequency fine-tuning:
- Due to the large range of frequency coarse tuning, when scanning over a certain frequency point, it is not aligned yet and is crossed. At this time, "frequency fine-tuning" can be used to scan back in the opposite direction and rotate multiple times to align with the frequency point.
- When the coarse adjustment crosses the frequency point clockwise, the fine adjustment sweeps back counterclockwise.
- When the coarse adjustment crosses the frequency point counterclockwise, the fine adjustment sweeps back clockwise.
- The direction of fine-tuning is always opposite to coarse tuning, similar to outflank and sweep back.
- Silence: The meaning of silence is to listen to intermittent signals such as walkie talkies and aviation communications. When there is no signal, the continuous "rustling sound" will automatically switch to a silent or significantly reduced state, and when there is a signal, it will automatically return to a high volume state. This makes listening or tuning more comfortable.

Package Included:
