Description:
This lithium battery kit is designed for FT-818 and FT-817. The 3000mAh battery capacity can effectively increase the battery life.

The charging line inside the FT-818 and FT-817 is only suitable for the original NiMH battery. The charging hatch in this set is designed to circumvent the charging line in the original radios. And the lithium battery pack is charged through the charger directly inserted into the hatch cover. The charging hatch is made of aluminum alloy and stamped in one piece. The charger is produced by a top manufacturer. The charger works stably, with less heat generated.

Endurance Tests of WLB-818 Lithium Battery Pack:
1. Continuous power on and listening time is about 9 hours (test conditions: full power/14.270MHz/USB/9 o'clock volume/outdoor antenna/room temperature 28°C).
2. Continuous power on and the transmission working time is about 2 hours (test conditions: full power/14.270MHz/CW/50Ω RF load resistance/full power in the radio menu/room temperature 28°C).
3. Daily normal use and working time of about 5 hours. This estimate is calculated based on long-time boot and listening, intermittent CW transmission, and the transmitting/receiving time ratio of 3:1.

Based on the above test and estimated data, it can be concluded that WLB-818 built-in battery pack is very suitable for activities such as field communication in a day. And if the transmit power is large, two battery packs can be used in turn.
