Description:
WS55-220-310A DC brushless motor controller input 220V is suitable for motor with or without Hall It supports multiple functions, including potentiometer speed control, external 10V voltage speed control, power on/off, speed output, alarm output, and positive reverse functions. You can connect it to a dedicated PC control panel to display the speed, and control it to start, stop, reverse, and jog.

Application:
- Widely used to control motors in mechanical devices, water pumps, and forced-draught fan.

- Several Control Ways: There is a variety of ways to adjust its speed. It supports speed control with/without Hall automatic identification. It can be connected to PC controller panel or external potentiometer switch to control its speed.

- Max. Speed: When there are two poles, no-hall controlled speed is up to 12000rpm, and the hall controlled speed up to 22000rpm. The actual speed depends on the motor and its load capacity.
- Optional PC Panel /Terminal Block Control Ways: Turn the dip switch S1 downwards when PC panel control is needed. Turn S2 upwards when terminal block control is needed. At the same time, the speed can also be displayed in your PC control panel.
 
Note: You can choose PC panel control or terminal block control. And the following description is about panel control and terminal control. Please note that the functions may vary according to the control way you choose.

- Four Ways to Adjust Speed:
  1. Via external potentiometer
  2. Via the potentiometer in your dedicated PC control panel
  3. Via external voltage: connect it to external 5V DC voltage, sharing the same ground wire
  4. Via PWM: connect it to PWM signal, sharing the same ground wire

Attention: The above four ways cannot be applied at the same time.

- Speed Output:
  1. PG Signal: It outputs 5V rotation speed pulse between this port and COM port.
  2. We name output frequency P (Hz), pole number N, speed F (RPM), and its output speed frequency will be: P=F*N/60.

- Alarm Output:
  ALM Signal: There is 5V alarm pulse output between this port and COM port.

- Positive Inversion Function:
  There are three control methods to make it work.
  1. Connect both ends of an external switch to F/R and COM port separately.
  2. Turn S2 upwards or downwards.
  3. Connect to PC.

  Attention: Method 1 and 2 cannot be applied at the same time. Adopting method 1, please turn S2 upwards. For method 2, the external switch should be cut off.

- Start & Stop:
  There are three ways to start and stop.
  1. Connect both ends of an external switch to EN and COM port separately.
  2. Turn S3 upwards or downwards.
  3. Connect to PC to control positive conversion.

  Attention: Method 1 and 2 cannot be applied at the same time. Adopting method 1, please turn S3 upwards. For method 2, the external switch should be cut off.

- Used with/without Hall:
  It is suitable for motors without or without Hall. And it can be switched after cutting off power.

- Under-/Over-Voltage Protection:
  It stops working when it is lower than 90V. Red light blinks 7 times. And it starts working when it is around 100V.
  The voltage of the controller should not higher than 250V for long-time operation.

  Attention: It is not recommended working in high-voltage space.

- Other Protections:
  It stops working and the red light is always on when there is phase loss, short circuit, stall and the like.

- Power Supply Indicator:
  Green light is on when it is turned on.

- State Indicator:
  Red light blinks at regular intervals in standby mode, and it is off when it is powered on. And it also blinks when there is something wrong.

- Insulation Resistance:
  With normal temperature and pressure, the impedance is bigger than 100MΩ

- Insulation Intensity:
  With normal temperature and pressure, it is 0.5KV/min.
