YMC-02 Blue LED Digital Capacitor Discharger High Voltage Discharging Tool for Electronic Repair (with Sparkpen)
Description:
- YMC-02 is a compact capacitor discharge tool, which is equipped with a DC Voltmeter. Whether the discharged capacitor is AC or DC, it can display DC voltage, discharge quickly and safely without sparking. It is a necessary tool for maintenance personnel.
Features:
- Small size, easy to carry around;
- Quick discharge without sparking;
- Discharge does not distinguish between positive and negative poles;
- 4-digit 8888 LED tube displays voltage, which can be used as a Voltmeter;
- Suitable for discharge scenarios with DC voltage below 800V.
Specification:
- Discharging voltage: <800VDC
- LED color: blue
- Maximum discharging energy: 150J
- Net weight: 145g
- Input interface: 4mm banana port
- Sparkpen material: Anti-freezing PVC soft sparkpen
- Application: switch power, digital camera, TV power board, high voltage large electrolytic capacitor
- Function: discharge high-voltage capacitors to protect products and operators from electric shock.
Usage:
- Insert the probe into the 4mm banana port of the host.
- The probe contacts the two pins of the capacitor without distinguishing the positive and negative poles.
- The voltmeter will display the voltage above the capacitor. When the voltage is about 10V, the LED does not light up. At this time, the probe should not be loosened, the discharge will continue. After about 10S, it can be discharged below 5V.
Conversion of AC voltage:
- The voltmeter displays the DC voltage. If you need to measure AC input, please simply calculate and convert it.
- AC voltage = Voltmeter display/0.9 (conversion coefficient is 0.9)
- For example, if the voltmeter displays 207VDC, the actual AC voltage is 207VDC/0.9=230VAC.
Precautions:
- If it is used as a voltmeter, the measurement time shall not exceed 20s when measuring the AC voltage of 230V.
- It is recommended to use it below 600VDC as the higher the voltage, the greater the heat generated and the more likely it is to cause faults.
- Before discharging the capacitor, please disconnect the 230V AC voltage first.
- Under 10V, the voltmeter does not display, but it still can discharge
- The energy of discharging high voltage capacitors should not exceed the maximum of 150J. There is no limit for capacitors with low voltage below 200V.
Package Included:
- 1 x Digital Capacitor Discharger Host
- 1 x Pair of Sparkpen
