- The ASI183 series is the highest quantum efficiency among all ZWO camera series, with a peak quantum efficiency of 84%.
- The ASI183MM camera uses a Sony IMX183CLK-J (monochrome) sensor with a frame size of 1 inch (13.2mm x 8.8mm). This is a brand new high-speed USB 3.0 camera from ZWO. This camera has 5496 x 3672 pixels and supports BIN2, BIN3, and BIN4 modes. Pixel size is 2.4μm x 2.4μm. This camera has a built-in 12 bit ADC and a full well capacity of 15000e.

- Although ASI183 has a small pixel size, it still has a full well capacity of 15000e. Read out the noise as 1.6e at 30DB , with a dynamic range of 12 stops at gain=0.
