ZYNQ Development Board Compatible with ZC706 Software Defined Radio Development Platform

Description:
1. ZYNQ chip XC7Z045-FFG 900 or XC7Z100-FFG 900 is optional.
2. Four pieces of DDR3 memory form 8GBIT (1GBYTE) running memory, which is connected to the PS side, and the PL side can be accessed through the HP interface.
3. RGMII interface Gigabit Ethernet, compatible with 1000M/100M/10M, PHY chip is 88E1116R.
4. The HDMI video output interface, use the chip ADV7511 to support 2K HD, can be used as a LINUX display of the graphical interface, provide a LINUX system.
5. There are two USB to UART interfaces, which are connected to PS and PL respectively. PS can be used as a processor system running program for dialogue, and the PL part can be interacted with by the user's self-written logic.
6. On-board download cable, connect the USB cable to realize all the functions of the download line, realize processor debugging, logical download and FLASH programming.
7. The USB OTG interface can realize an external mouse, keyboard or U disk, etc.

1. Do I need to purchase a download cable separately?
Answer: There is an on-board download cable module U10 on this board that has been connected, J2 can be used as a download cable directly after connecting the USB cable, full-featured and fast.
You can also use an external JTAG download cable to connect to the 6PIN standard XILINX JTAG interface on the board. To use an external download cable, you need to unplug the USB port J2 of the on-board download module.

2. Is FMC LPC or HPC?
Answer: The 3 FMC ports are all LPC standards.

3. The advantages and disadvantages of the 7Z045 and 7Z100 chip versions.
Answer: 7Z045 has better compatibility with the official board ZC706, such as:
A. Run the LINUX image downloaded from the official website directly, or compile the LINUX source code without modification.
B. Directly select ZC706 board under VIVADO environment, directly use ZC706's PS configuration and DDR3 configuration.
C. MATLAB has a toolbox connected to ZC706, which is directly available.
D. ADI official also has LINUX based on ZC706, which is also used directly.

The advantage of using 7Z100 is that there are more PL resources, and PS resources are the same as 7Z045, suitable for users who are familiar with ZYNQ system. You can choose according to your needs.
